SAEYC will be celebrating it's       75th Anniversary in 2010!

SAEYC is a non-profit organization made up of early childhood practitioners, teachers, parents, and other professionals who work on behalf of the needs and rights of young children and their families.  We are supported through membership fees and revenue from the annual state conference.  SAEYC has hosted four state conferences and sponsored the Student Events for the last two years.

Our mission is to support the development of professionals to promote quality care and education for the well-being of all young children and their families.

Our purpose is to serve and act on the behalf of the needs and rights of young children by focusing on the provision of educational services and resources in adults who work with and for children from birth to age eight.

SAEYC is an affiliate of both the New York State Association for the Education of Young Children (NYSAEYC) as well as the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
