We offer two types of scholarships:

SAEYC Educational Scholarship:

The SAEYC offers scholarship money to members who are pursuing a degree in early care and education.  We offer two (2) scholarships each year in the amount of $250 to two students enrolled in upcoming semesters.

You must complete an application form to apply for the SAEYC Scholarship and submit by December 1st for spring semesters or July 1st for fall semesters.  Late applications will not be accepted.

The Requirements are:

• You must be a member of the SAEYC affiliate or become a member with your application for the scholarship.

• You must already be enrolled in an Early Childhood Education undergraduate program for the upcoming spring/fall semester.

• You must show a "C" or better grade; valid transcript is required.

• You must intend to work in an early care and education setting upon completion of your undergraduate program or transferring to a 4 year school to complete a teaching degree.

SAEYC Membership Scholarship:

This is offered to Family / Group Family Child Care providers and pays for one year of your membership to the NAEYC, the largest early childhood professional organization in the nation.  Membership also includes benefits offered to members of the local affiliate, SAEYC.
